"Can I Live??" - Jay-Z

Me and my boy ColdBlooded keep runnin into the same problem...beat prices. Now I do understand that we are up-n-coming producers, and need to establish ourselves, but DAMN, niggaz at like they cant come out they pocket and pay for sum good shit. Dont get me wrong, I know we aint no damn Pharell and Timbo but jeez, we are far from scrap!

I personally know a few so called "local" producers outta Atlanta that charge in the thousands for their beats and a nigga like me cant get a couple hundred for my masterpieces? And I know yall saying, "If u want to establish urself u should give some beats away to the artists for free". I hear u...Ive done it...I gotta artist in VA who I throw beats to and he murders them and I got a couple of new clients thru him. Thats gravy. But im tryna establish myself in my own damn state of Arkansas. And as much talent as we have down here (or up here...depends on where u stay) these niggaz is cheap!!! (u kno who u are)

Heres how the conversation usually goes:

Prospective Buyer: "Damn!! Im really feelin (insert beat name here)!! This shit is bangin!!

C-Scale/ColdBlooded: "Thanks mayne. I appreciate that."

Prospective Buyer: "This is a hit. I need this for my album/mixtape. How much u asking for?"

C-Scale/ColdBlooded: "I was gon let it go for $275 but ill let u get it for $225. We doin business?" (and sum prices are lower than this)

Prospective Buyer: "Uhh...wellll...Imma get back atcha real soon." (or sum'n to that effect)

And I neva hear from these dudes again. And I think to myself...if these dudes was in Atlanta or NY or Chicago or LA tryna get beats for prices as low as ours are (for now anyway) them producer niggaz would prolly laugh in they damn face!!

I said all of that to say this...u betta get these beats now while they are "cheap" cuz when we blow them same niggaz who aint fuckin wit us now really gon hate cuz our prices gon blow to!!

I just got one simple question.....................CAN I LIVE?

"A Lil Sum" - Brain Child

Just got off my 9-5 (better yet my 8:15-3:25) teaching these bad ass kids. Misunderstood might be a better word, but im just being real. Anyway im working on a joint mixtape with my partner Top Flight as well my own solo project. Ive recorded about 15-20 tracks and im lookin for someone to MIX & MASTER my joints ya dig.

Gotta send a quick shout to my boys Griff and Q-Note and Primary Source Entertaiment. U might as well say we grew up together (along wit my boy Blake) cuz we went to the same school from at least 4th grade on up. They gotta nice album called "Hustle Harda" yall should really check out. Most of the production is handled by Q-Note and they both slaughter the mic.

Check out this video they did for the 50th anniversary of the integration of Little Rock Central High (which also happens to be my alma mater):

A brief synopsis...

Im an 80s baby. 1983 to be exact. Born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. Yeah, yeah, yeah...Im from the place where they filmed "Bangin in Little Rock", but that aint all we known for...maybe the most infamous...but not the only thing.

I switched schools alot when I was younger in search of sum real "higher learning." Got an undergrad and grad school degree in Biology (UAPB) and Cytotechnology (UAMS) respectively and have no plans of using either one to make me financially stable in the long run. Ironic right?!? But who knows??? Plans often change...

Like the title of my blog says, Im married 2 the hu$tle and addicted 2 the grind. My label, Hu$tle Musik Entertainment, is still in its infancy stages but is well on its way to blowing up. Right now I mainly focus on my production company, Fully Focused Productions. The company consists of C-Scale (myself) & Top Flight (from NLR, AR). We make tracks for artists on our label as well as outside artists. Be sure to check out one of my artists P.R.I.M.E.

Im here mainly just to network and have my own forum in which to share my voice, skillz, and talent with the masses. With that being said I leave u with a track remixed and arranged by me. Enjoy...
